Using Studio: features explained

Working together on a podcast show: you can do it with Studio. From giving feedback on audio files, to collecting and managing important data from the podcast. It is a portal where you can collaborate with creators, editors and clients. How can you use Studio? We explain that below.

Create an account

You can create an account on this page. If you already have a Springcast account, you can log in with your Springcast account. You can also create an account with your Google or Microsoft account.

Add a show and choose a subscription 

To collaborate on a show, you first need to import the show. You do this by pressing the 'New show' button.
Next, enter your show's RSS feed here and click 'Create'. 



You can choose a standard or premium subscription. Wondering which subscription you should choose? You can find out here. 
Choose the desired subscription.

Your show will now appear in your dashboard under 'My shows'. You can optionally mark favourites with a star. 
You are now the owner of this show. 

You only see this menu if you are the owner or editor of the show. As a reviewer, you only see 'Episodes'. 

If you look in your dashboard, you can now see the show. At the top of the menu you will find a number of tabs: Episodes, Planning, Files, Team, Briefing and Audit.



Episodes: an overview of all episodes within the show. You can view the episodes from this window by clicking on 'View'.
Planning: an overview of all tasks of all episodes. You can see at a glance what the deadline is for a certain task.
Files: you can save files such as preparation documents, appointments and notes for your show here. These files are stored at show level, but can be useful for all episodes. Think audio files and artwork, for instance. 
Team: here you can add team members to your show. These can be editors or reviewers. You can add as many team members as you like. Read how this works and what the roles are in this article.
Briefing: you can give a briefing to the whole team here. Here you share, for example, who the target group is and what the goals are. 
Audit: what changes have taken place and by whom? You can view the audit log here. 

Tabs per episode 

 You only see this menu if you are owner or editor of the show. As a reviewer, you see a section (details and audio). 
If you click on a specific episode in the episode overview, a new menu appears: Details, Tasks, Audio, Files and Audit.

Details: here you can find all the details of an episode. You can change the details by clicking 'Edit episode'.
Tasks: you can attach tasks to these episodes. For example, think about finding designer for the artwork or creating a new intro for this episode.
Audio: this is where the editor or owner can upload a version of an episode that is ready for review. We will explain the function in detail in this article.
Files: this is also where you can upload files. For example, the show notes, interview questions, the specific artwork and quitclaims related to this episode. 
Audit: here you can view the audit log of the specific episode. 

Personal preferences and settings

At the top right of the dashboard, you can change Studio's language to Dutch or English. Pressing your intitials will take you to your settings and subscriptions. This is also where you can log out. 



Want to view or change your account details? You can do so under 'Settings'.
For all the details around your subscription and managing it, you can click on 'Subscriptions'.
