Review audio

Review audio

Owners and editors can upload an audio file under 'audio' within an episode. Reviewers, other editors and owners can then post comments. Reviewers receive an e-mail when an audio file has been uploaded for review.

Reviewing audio

You can post two types of comments: based on time codes or a general comment about the audio.

1. A comment regarding certain timecodes
Hover your mouse over a snippet and select it. If you don't want to select a specific moment, but a larger piece, you can click and drag to select the part. Then you can click the text cloud (see pink arrow) and add a comment.

2. A general comment
Click the 'Place a comment' button and you can describe your comment here.

In the comment field, you can add a description, adjust time codes if necessary and assign this comment to a team member. Often you assign a comment to the editor because this person edits the audio. You can assign a general comment to the owner, for example.

The comments can be found under comments at the bottom of the audio wave.
You can click the dots (number 1 in this case) to see where the comment has been placed.

Approve audio

Editors and owners can approve the audio once all feedback has been gathered. If this file is approved, it will appear under the episode details and everyone will know that this is the final episode.
